What the club is for

Three things we get right.

Everything Queenkay Stars FC does comes back to these. If a session, a fixture or a decision doesn't serve one of them, it doesn't happen.

Player development

Structured coaching built around ball mastery, decision-making and match fitness. Players are measured on progress, not just results, so every child has something to work towards.

Community first

The club exists to keep Pretoria's young people busy, disciplined and part of something. Parents are kept in the loop, and the club stays reachable to the families it serves.

Competitive edge

Development means nothing without a stage. Players train to compete — with the discipline, intensity and respect the crest asks for on every matchday.

The club

More than a team.
A football family.

Queenkay Stars FC was formed in Montana, Pretoria to give local children a serious route into football — one with real coaching, real fixtures and adults who show up every week.

We are a registered South African club led by director Koketso Maria Makura, and we run on a simple belief: a young player who is taught properly, backed properly and given a shirt to be proud of will carry that into the rest of their life.

The pathway

How a player grows here.

Three stages, in order. Players enter where they are ready and move up when the coaching staff say so — not when the calendar does.

1

Stage one · Ages 6–9

Grassroots

First touches, coordination and small-sided games. The job at this stage is simple: make the ball feel normal, and make football something they want to come back to.

2

Stage two · Ages 10–14

Development

Technique under pressure, positional understanding and match fitness. Players start being asked to read the game, not just play in it.

3

Stage three · Ages 15–17

Competitive

Representing Queenkay Stars FC in league and tournament football, with the preparation, discipline and conduct that come with wearing the crest.
