Everyone gets coached
No child is left standing on the touchline for a season. Every player in the squad gets real coaching time and real minutes appropriate to their stage.
Queenkay Stars FC is a registered South African football club in Montana, Pretoria, built to develop young players and strengthen the community they come from.
Our story
Queenkay Stars FC began with a straightforward observation: Pretoria produces plenty of talented young footballers, and far too few of them get consistent, structured coaching close to home.
So the club was set up in Montana to be exactly that — a place where a child can arrive with nothing but interest and leave with technique, fitness, teammates and a shirt they are proud to wear.
The club is formally registered in South Africa and run with the administration to match: proper records, clear communication with parents, and a director who is contactable by name.
What we stand for
These are the standards every coach, player and parent at Queenkay Stars FC signs up to.
No child is left standing on the touchline for a season. Every player in the squad gets real coaching time and real minutes appropriate to their stage.
Turning up, listening, respecting the referee and respecting teammates come first. Talent is developed on top of that, not instead of it.
Training times, fixtures and any change to the schedule are communicated clearly and early. Families should never be guessing.
Blue, gold and red on the crest stand for a club that takes itself seriously. Players are expected to carry that on and off the pitch.
Leadership
Koketso Maria Makura is the club director. She handles club administration, trials, sponsorship enquiries and correspondence directly — which means enquiries land with a person, not a form queue.
Club administration is run locally from Montana, Pretoria, and the club welcomes approaches from parents, coaches, schools and businesses in the area.

Community
The club's main goal is not trophies. It is what a well-run football club does for the young people and families around it.
Regular training gives young people a structured, supervised place to spend their afternoons and weekends.
A clear pathway from grassroots to competitive football gives players a goal that rewards patience and effort.
Coaches who know each player by name, hold them to standards, and notice when something is off.
Stars today, legends tomorrow.
